An unexpected gift
We were overjoyed to receive our mail today and find a very generous gift to the Scottie Yard in memory of Doris Miller Hoffman, 1965 graduate of Oak Hills High School. Doris served Oakdale Elementary as the physical education teacher from 1991-2005. From 1970-79 she taught PE at Springmyer Elementary.
We are extremely grateful to her family for honoring her memory with this gift to our playground. Doris will be remembered with a plaque on the new swing set in the Scottie Yard.
