A tribute to Ike

April Adams Oakes '75 read the latest issue of the Highlander Highway, Oak Hills alumni newlsetter, and was inspired to donate to our playground to honor her deceased Scottish Terrier, Ike. When she was a student at Oak Hills High School in the '70s she remembers the two Scottie mascots - one black, one white.

"I remember them walking around (on leashes) during football games," she said. "That experience inspired me to have Scotties as pets -- and I have had three -- Max, Mamie and Ike."
