Our youngest donor
Three cheers for Jack McSwiggin, a J.F. Dulles Elementary student, who participated in this year's Go Bananas Challenge sponsored by the Cincinnati Zoo. Jack planned and marketed a campaign to collect old cell phones. He partnered with the school district and local businesses to set out collection bins. Jack urged classmates, teachers, friends, community members, alumni and others to vote his campaign as the 'most creative' online and....he WON!
Jack won $1,000 for his school and decided to donate the money to Oakdale Elementary to support our Scotttie Yard project. We are thrilled with the gift and proud to call Jack a Scottie Supporter. He exemplifies what it means to be #highlanderstrong.
